Lifetime License Now Included with FolderSync Desktop

Happy New Year to our amazing FolderSync community!

We're excited to start 2026 with some fantastic news: all FolderSync Desktop licenses are now lifetime licenses with free updates for life.

What This Means for You

Previously, Desktop licenses included two years of free updates. We've listened to your feedback and decided to make things simpler and more valuable for everyone:

Lifetime Updates: Your license now includes free software updates forever—no renewal fees, no hidden costs
Retroactive for All: This applies to every FolderSync Desktop license ever purchased, whether you bought it yesterday or years ago
All License Types: Personal, single-user, and business licenses all receive lifetime updates

Why We Made This Change

At FolderSync, we believe in building long-term relationships with our users. File synchronization is a critical tool that you rely on daily, and we want you to have peace of mind knowing that your investment is protected for the long haul.

This change reflects our commitment to:

Providing transparent, fair pricing
Rewarding loyal customers
Simplifying our licensing model
Ensuring you always have access to the latest features and security updates

What About Existing Customers?

If you've already purchased a FolderSync Desktop license, you don't need to do anything. Your existing license is automatically upgraded to lifetime status. You'll continue receiving updates for as long as FolderSync Desktop exists.

Moving Forward

We're incredibly grateful for your continued support and trust in FolderSync. This change is just one of many improvements we have planned for 2026. Stay tuned for exciting new features and enhancements coming to both our Android and Desktop versions.

Thank you for being part of the FolderSync family!
